What does it do? Toncoin serves multiple purposes within the TON ecosystem. It is used for transaction fees, staking by validators, governance voting and as a medium of exchange within the network.
Why is it interesting? Toncoin is intriguing because of its technical capabilities and the vision of integrating a decentralized blockchain with a widely used social platform like Telegram.

Coinbase and Stripe Partnership
Coinbase and Stripe are partnering to create integrations that are focused on increasing blockchain adoption. In an announcement on Thursday, Coinbase outlined three key integrations. These integrations include Stripe adding USDC on Base to their crypto payouts options and to their fiat-to-crypto on-ramp, and Coinbase adding Stripe’s fiat-to-crypto on-ramp to their wallet.
When Will US Spot Ethereum ETF Launch
On June 26, Reuters reported that regulators and asset managers were nearing the final stages in their discussions regarding the Spot Ethereum ETF. Reuters set the launch to happen as early as July 4. A lawyer involved with an issuer said that they are “down to the finishing touches” and “not more than a week or two away”.

Solana developers recently announced blockchain links (blinks). Blinks is a new innovation in the Solana ecosystem that allows onchain actions to be transferred to a URL link that can be shared. This innovation could greatly impact the ecosystem by connecting blockchain.
